As a Performance Marketing Strategist based in NYC, you will build strategies designed to drive acquisition of new Spartan consumers, implement with excellence, analyze signals, and optimize to drive maximum ROI. You will also serve as the key integrator between the innovative partnership created between Spartan Race and Rakuten, leader in digital media.

This role is located in downtown New York City, local candidates will receive preference in hiring status and relocation will not be provided for candidates outside of the New York area.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Spartan Race Leadership Team and Rakuten, chart a course of amazing consumer acquisition in 2019
  • Create an omni-channel approach to driving profitable acquisition and growth
  • Provide digital strategy recommendations and implementation
  • Work closely with Rakuten to implement new and cutting edge solutions in the digital and performance marketing space for Spartan Race
  • Implement test and learn strategies
  • Develop briefs and work collaboratively with Spartan NYC’s creative team in the creation of digital marketing assets
  • Work closely with key media partners to drive growth and ROI
  • Drive down accountability, proactive action and mentorship to direct reports
  • Provide weekly reports on marketing performance

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years experience in performance media at a high growth direct to consumer startup, brand or agency specializing in this kind of marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of digital media including Facebook, Google with a focus on Youtube, programmatic platforms, Native, and Affiliate
  • Extensive knowledge with measurement and media attribution tools such as Google Analytics, Sysomos and G2
  • Familiarity with working with DMP’s
